Mecha village game

I’m not sure how I’m going to build out ideas like this in notes, but I do need to transcribe these scraps I have on papers, so this will live in processing for the time being.

Setting

This game is about living in a sealed community after a catastrophe. The outside can not easily be traveled any longer, so teams of mecha are sent out to scavenge for materials.

Village, the steading

This is a central area where the players operate from. They use a variety of interfaces to program the mecha to go out and search for things for their community. At the end of each sortie, any surviving mecha return and a mission report is produced.

As a deckbuilder

Each player is an Operator, sending in teams of mecha to salvage resources.

Mecha are card types representing mechanical units with values and abilities.

Environment are card types that establish the central row of cards. It has a turn, manipulated the row, and triggers effects.

Hacks are card types played as actions for one-off effects.
