Living with and without magitech

I ordered a wearable computer, and as I was researching how to simplify my life it occured to me: I may one day not have this magic artifact, so how much do I want to rely on it.

However… If it were taken from me… Wouldn’t my issues be more immediate? Perhaps I need not worry about leaning into making life easier via digital computing artifact, and, um, empower myself to just go out and rock this magitech for love and peace!

I have the same issue with some of my stuff. I keep oscillating between paper and pen, and digital notes.

The primary reason I need a wearable computer at this time is I keep forgetting to set a tea timer.

Reasons I got the wearable device:

  • health monitoring, especially stress and sleep
  • world exploration tool
  • travel assistance
  • haptic feedback (reduce distractions in my environment)
  • safety features, such as fall detection and SOS

My device is not charging with the charger that came with it. Either the device or the charger and cable are broken… so I ordered another cable.

It will be here in a week. The device will be empty tomorrow. :slightly_frowning_face:
