I was thinking about the implications of divine beings becoming drunk.
It seems like having “powers” and drinking would be taboo! You would seriously mess stuff up if you became inebriated.
Then I thought about Marvel Thor, who belongs to a non-human godlike species that can consume enough to become drunk!
And then I realized: Marvel storytellers explain Viking society as inspired by wild space aliens!
