Since working on Ansible playbook for personal computer configuration, I’ve decided to incorporate the backup strategy into each role, if possible.
I currently keep my personal files in a network of nodes running syncthing. Since I gather up other folks shares as a backup, I could plan our my local filesystem to make it easy to just backup everything there into an encrypted archive and stash somewhere redundant offsite.
